Last week I had the chance to buy two spools of the 30lbs Australian made Jigging Braid.
Yes. It is a real 8-carrier braid which can only be compared with high -end Japaneese braids like Varivas and YGK.
At first inspection the diameter of the 30lb line is really bigger than other 30lb braids. But what real laboratory tests showed, was that the line would brake at 35lbs on a properly executed Bimini while it exceeded 40lbs on a splice. WOW!!!! What I decided to do after all this testing, is to use it as a 50lb line.
What really is impressive with this line, is how smooth and silent it is.
Price is correct. Durability? Time will show.
